Event Description
This event is an opportunity for members of the UA community to share their culture with others. Initiated by Holcombe Hall Senate a few years ago, this program has become a popular annual event in Holcombe every November. Hosted by Holcombe's Hall Senate with support from RIC, Pomfret, Quads, and Maple Hill Hall Senates, Night Market is modeled after traditional Asian markets that are held at night and showcase food, clothing, crafts, and items for sale. Our approach is free and invites attendees to visit with people of different countries and cultures who set up booths showcasing unique cultural items, such as food samples, currency, photographs, clothing, art, etc. ISS will be sharing their classroom with us as well, where we will have food from local restaurants showcasing different cultures for attendees. There is no cost for this event and food is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents, for the safety of your children, please remain with them for the duration of the event.
