Please come hear Oda Mulloy read from her new book, I Grew Up in a Castle (Will Hall Books 2012) on Sunday, December 9, 2012, 2-4 pm at Nightbird Books.
This collection of stories is a glimpse of life in a Quaker boarding school in the Netherlands, surviving with a child's insight--sometimes joyfully, sometimes humorously--a terrible war. Mulloy grew up in Germany and the Netherlands, emigrating to the U.S. in 1951. She read her stories for 18 years on KUAF.
