Event Description
The Office of Affirmative Action presents this training session on the recruitment process for faculty and non-classified staff. This class focuses on the 3-step recruitment process and its required documentation, the do's and don'ts of interviewing, and recruiting for diversity. Search chairs, administrative and support staff are encouraged to attend. After attending this training session, participants will be able to: 1. Discuss why the recruitment process is important within the University of Arkansas system. 2. Identify methods and vehicles for recruiting within diverse populations. 3. Outline and explain the 3-step recruitment process. 4. Identify do’s and don’ts of interviewing. 5. Identify University policy and legal requirements for retention of recruitment records.
