Event Description
University of Arkansas students and faculty may register to attend a panel discussion, “Talent Development 2013,” on the state of the workforce development industry.
The Northwest Arkansas chapter of the American Society for Training and Development will host the meeting that includes lunch and time for networking. The meeting is free to faculty members and students, but online registration is required.
Panelists will be Claretha Hughes, an associate professor and coordinator for the human resource and workforce development program in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas; Brenda Maddox, a change agent for human performance improvement at Rink Consulting; Bradley Brewster, director of client solutions at SVI; Jason Strasser, senior manager of talent development at Sam’s Club; and Robert Addis, president of the Northwest Arkansas chapter of the American Society for Training and Development.
Topics will include issues affecting workplace learning and its practitioners, why trends seen in the industry must be addressed and what actions can be taken. |
