University of Arkansas Computer Store-New to Mac Event

Event Description
Join the University of Arkansas Computer Store for their “New to Mac” event. During this short course, you will be introduced to the current Mac operating system Mountain Lion, including how to use the Dock, Finder, Mission Control, Launchpad, Stacks, Expose, Safari and System Preferences. Using your own laptop, you will learn shortcuts, how to locate, manage and organize all of your files and leave with a better understanding of your Mac’s primary functionalities.
There are two date options for the New to Mac event, Saturday, February 23rd from 1:00-2:00 and Saturday March 9th from 1:00-2:00. Registration is free and is open to all U of A faculty, staff, and students. The event will take place in the University of Arkansas Bookstore Café area. Seating is limited and requires a reservation. Event registration is available for both days on the University of Arkansas Computer Store website: computers.uofastore.com/classes
