The Headliner Concerts Committee brings in one large-scale artist to the university each academic semester, one in the fall and one in the spring.  The selection of the artist is made by the Headliner Concerts Committee, which is composed primarily of students.  Concert tickets are available at no additional charge to students who have paid the Student Activity Fee. 

The Headliner Concerts Committee is composed of eleven students and one advisor.  The advisor for the committee is a full-time staff member of the Office of Student Activities.  Of the student members, one is the ASG President or designee, one is selected through ASG, one is the University Programs Concerts Committee Chair or designee, and the eight additional spots are filled through the application process.  Interviews are conducted by current student committee members and the committee advisor.  The committee is in charge of polling students to select the appropriate genre and band, promoting and conducting the concert each semester, and overseeing the Headliner Concerts Committee Budget.
