Event Description
The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center presents "Words Matter I: Why Every Small Business Should Blog." This seminar is designed for local business owners or their staff who want to learn about using blogging as an Internet marketing tool. Angie Albright and Jamie Smith, both experienced online content writers and bloggers, will cover the basics of why blogging is a necessary tool for today’s business environment. They will also provide concrete strategies for getting your business blog up and running. Pre-registration is required at sbtdc.uark.edu. Call (479) 575-5148 for U of  A student, staff, or faculty discount to be applied. See Words Matter II description for afternoon event the next day. Free parking in the FPL garage.
