Information Session: China Summer Program
Start Date: 1/30/2014Start Time: 11:00 AM
End Date: 1/30/2014End Time: 1:00 PM

Event Description

On Thursday, January 30th from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in WCOB 343, there will be an information session on the International Business in China Study Abroad Program in Summer 2014. Interested students are welcome to drop-in, eat a slice of pizza and learn about this amazing opportunity.  This summer program allows students to earn 6 hours of upper or lower level ECON credit. The program can fit into many graduation plans, so non-business students are also encouraged to participate.  Graduate credit is also available.

Dr. John Aloysius (Supply Chain Management) and Dr. Gary Peters (Accounting), faculty in the Sam M. Walton College of Business, are the program leaders and will be present to provide information and answer questions.

The program exposes students to the culture, business practices, political and economic environment of this emerging economic power. The program will be three weeks (May 11 – June 1, 2014) and will include business visits, cultural tours, guest speakers with in-depth local knowledge, and some time to explore in several locations in China.
