Dr. Angie Maxwell presents "The Indicted South"

Event Description
The Washington County Democratic Women will meet on Tuesday, July 22nd at Mermaid’s Restaurant in Fayetteville from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. The guest speaker will be Dr. Angie Maxwell, Asst. Professor of Political Science in the Diane D. Blair Center of Southern Studies at the University of Arkansas. Dr. Maxwell will be discussing her new book, “The Indicted South”, and copies will be available for purchase. She is co-founder of the Blair Center-Clinton School Poll, an election year survey analyzing national and regional voting behavior and preferences. She has appeared on MSNBC’s The Cycle and The Reid Report to discuss southern politics.
The program is free and open to the public. Dinner is $16 and is optional. Please make dinner reservations by noon on Mon. July 21 at 479-267-2158.
