Event Description:
What do Arkansas/Ozark writers say about our regional culture? Explore this topic by reading and discussing four (4) works of fiction by regional authors. September 6: Donald Hayes, Dixie Association (1984); October 4: Shirley Abbott, Womenfolks: Growing Up Down South; November 1: Brooks Bevins, Ghost of the Ozarks: Murder and Memory in the Upland South; and December 6: Daniel Woodrell’s, Winter’s Bone (2007).
