Event Description:

Chapter meeting of UA Chapter of Sigma Xi, the honors research society.  The meeting for November 9 will begin at 12:30 in WAAX 209 in the Center for Math and Science Education.  Our speaker will be Distinguished Professor James Lampinen (PSYC) who will present “Seeing is Sometimes Not Believing: How Eyewitnesses Get it Wrong and How Science Can Help Set Them Right”.  The community is welcome to attend.  Grab some lunch (Dickson St., or bring from home).  Parking is free on the streets and WAC until 2 PM.  There is a yellow Faculty Staff lot on the south side of WAAX.  WAAX is on the east side of West Avenue just south of Lafayette.  Entrance on the South side, elevator or stairs to second floor, then go almost all the way to the  right (east).
