Event Description:
The Chinese Students and Scholars Association welcomes all students to come enjoy Chinese food, performances, games, and prizes at our Chinese New Year’s Festival. Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is the most important Chinese holiday that celebrates the first day in the traditional Chinese calendar.
This event will take place on February 2, 2019 at the Union Ballroom inside Arkansas Union. Doors open at 5pm, and the event will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Tickets are free for all University of Arkansas students. Tickets will be distributed on January 17th and 18th from 11:00am to 2:00pm by the union food court.
Chinese New Year’s celebration is one of the most popular events hosted by the Chinese Students and Scholars Association every Spring. Come meet other students from around the world and learn more about Chinese culture while enjoying Chinese food.
This event is supported by the Student Activities Fee as a funded event by the Associated Student Government and is free to all currently-enrolled University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, students who pay the student activities fee.
