Event Description:
Global estimates published by the World Health Organization indicate that about 1 in 3 (35%) of women worldwide have experienced either physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence or non-partner sexual violence in their lifetime. These workshops about intimate partner violence against women are appropriate for social workers, counselors, law enforcement, probation and parole officers, clergy, case managers, doctors, nurses, teachers or anyone else who works with or conducts therapy with women and/or children.
