Event Description:
The University of Arkansas School of Art is pleased to announce visiting artist, Osamu James Nakagawa. This lecture will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the Hillside Auditorium, room 206. The event is free and open to the public.

Osamu James Nakagawa was named the 2015 Sagamihara Photographer of the Year and 2010 Higashikawa New Photographer of the Year. His work has been exhibited internationally and is in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, George Eastman Museum, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography, Museum of Fine Arts Houston, and Museum of Contemporary Photography Chicago.

Nakagawa is Ruth N. Halls distinguished professor of photography at Indiana, where he directs the Center for Integrative Photographic Studies. We invite you to learn more from Osamu James Nakagawa February 22, 2018.
