Event Description:
The prestigious Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program offers U.S. college graduates with a bachelor's degree in any discipline the opportunity to live and work in Japan for periods of 1-5 years. Founded in 1987, JET has sent more than 70,000 participants from around the globe (including more than 35,800 Americans) to work in schools, boards of education, and government offices throughout Japan. What makes JET unique is that it is the only teaching exchange program managed by the government of Japan. With more than 55 countries around the world currently participating in JET, this program offers a unique cultural exchange opportunity to meet people from all around the world, living and working in Japan.

To learn more and meet the JET Coordinator when he visits campus, join our upcoming information session on Tuesday, September 17, 4pm-4pm in Kimpel Hall room 301. Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of your year, major, or current language ability. Last year over 1,000 recent graduates, including a record number from the University of Arkansas, were accepted.
