Bate-Papo simply means 'chat' or 'informal conversation'. If you are a learner or native speaker of Portuguese or just have an interest in the language and/or its diverse cultures, you should join our weekly Portuguese conversation meetings! It doesn't matter how much or how little you know. All that matters is that you are willing to practice what you know to improve your communication skills and help others do the same. Bate-Papo meetings take place every Tuesday from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at the Language Center in JB Hunt, room 207.
