This week we will have our BioGrad invited seminar speaker, Dr. Roger Innes, a Distinguished Professor from Indiana University, whose primary interest is in understanding the molecular and cellular basis of disease resistance in plants. Specifically, his lab is interested in how plants are able to recognize pathogens and actively respond. If you are interested in meeting Dr. Innes for one-on-one meetings or would like to go for breakfast/dinner (which is FREE), then please do not hesitate to sign up using the link below.

This is an excellent opportunity to widen your academic network by interacting with scientists even if their research doesn't align with yours directly. Again, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me (Kiana Kasmaii: kkasmaii@uark.edu).

Pre - Seminar social at 3:00 PM in 502!
