About this Event
340 N. Campus Dr., Fayetteville, AR
The Young Democrats at U of A are hosting an event with former U.S. Senator Blanche Lincoln. Lincoln served as a U.S. Senator from Arkansas (1999-2011) and was previously in the U.S. House (1993-1997). Notable as the youngest woman ever elected to the Senate at the time at age 38, she chaired the Senate Agriculture Committee - the first woman to do so. Since leaving office, she's worked in consulting and advocacy. Lincoln will be speaking on her career, education, and today's political climate. All are welcome and will be able to participate in a Q&A.
