Start the semester off right by joining us from 6-9:30 p.m. Saturday, August 17, for a free and fun evening with the U of A Museum's popular collections open house, snacks, fun activities such as a scavenger hunt, a sketch session featuring museum artifacts, and sun printing demonstrations! It’s an opportunity to learn about the Museum's resources for research and learning, as well as other campus organizations such as Pat Walker Health Center’s Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS), the U of A Herbarium, and the Arkansas Archeological Survey. How to Get There:
The University of Arkansas Museum Collections Facility is located on 2471 N Hatch Ave, roughly 2.5 miles north of the main University of Arkansas campus in Fayetteville, AR. Parking is free and a free shuttle from main campus to the Museum will be provided at Hotz Hall Bus Loop (1200 Cleveland St, Fayetteville, AR 72701). The shuttle runs from 5:45PM to 9:45PM evening. The final shuttle leaves the Museum at 9:30PM. During the event, the shuttle will transport to and from as needed. If they haven’t had any riders within a 10-minute wait period at one stop then they’ll go back to the other pickup location and wait about 10 minutes or so.
