CFAC's Home-Warming Donation Drive

Sunday, November 30, 2025 9:00am - Monday, December 1, 2025 9:00am CST

Craft For A Cause is a Registered Student Organization at UARK. Our mission is to bring students together in a creative and supportive environment where crafting meets compassion. We aim to use our skills to make items that provide warmth and comfort to those experiencing homelessness and harships in our community.

From Septermeber 28-November 28 we are partnering with Peace at Home Family Shelter to help families escaping abusive situations. These families often move into safe housinng with very few belongings, so we want to make sure that their new space feels safe, comfotrtable, and welcoming.

You can help by donating essential home goods to support survivors as they start fresh. Items most needed include:

  • twin and full-sized sheets & comforters

  • pillows

  • towels (bath & face)

  • bathmats

  • cleaning supplies: dish soap, bleach, antibacterial wipes, laundry detergent pods, laundry softener, dryer sheets, etc.

  • baby monitors

  • baby bottle brushes

  • pots and pans

  • kitchen utensils

  • plates and cups

  • bakeware

  • mixing bowls

  • phone chargers (lightning and C)

  • snacks for kids

Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home. Your donations help bring warmth, dignity, and comfort to survivors building a new beginning here in Northwest Arkansas.

We have more ways to help too!

We’re inviting our community to join us in creating celebration cards that will uplift and encourage Peace at Home clients during their big life moments. These cards will be given to individuals and families as they reach important milestones, such as moving into a new home, starting a job, graduating, or completing counseling.

We ask that cards include positive “congratulations” messages, either in English or Spanish, such as:

  • Congratulations on your new job!
  • Congratulations on moving into your new home!

  • It takes courage to build the life you want and deserve. You’re doing great!

  • Congratulations on starting school! / Congratulations grad, you did it!

  • Congratulations on completing the Counseling Program!

  • Or simple uplifting notes like: “Bravo!” “I’m proud of you!” “Cheers to your achievement!”

Feel free to get creative! Add color, art, or personal touches that make the card extra special. Your time and effort will mean so much to survivors as they celebrate new chapters in their lives.
