Please join Michael Day/DAYVISION productions and Dr. Jarvis Young, assistant professor of English, as they bring a film to the University of Arkansas about the life and legacy of Dr. John L Colbert, the first African American principal and superintendent in Fayetteville, AR. The event is in honor of Black history month and will be held Friday, February 7th at 6pm in the Union theatre. After the documentary, Dr. Young and Michael Day will host a Q&A session where audience members can ask questions about the film and Dr. Colbert's life. All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to attend in addition to the NWA community. We are looking forward to honoring and celebrating the life and legacy of a local pioneer!
