DESCRIPTION:This event highlights the life and legacy of a local pioneer\, 
 Dr. John L. Colbert\, who was the first African American principal and supe
 rintendent in Fayetteville. DayVision Productions along with English and Af
 rican American literature professor\, Dr. Jarvis Young\, will host a screen
 ing of Dr. Colbert's life in honor of Black history month on Friday\, Febru
 ary 7th at 6pm in the Union Theatre. The event will include a Q&A with Dr. 
 Young and the film's director\, Michael Day\, immediately after the screeni
 ng. This event is open to all students and campus affiliates\, as well as t
 he local Fayetteville community.
