About this Event
416 N. Campus Dr., Fayetteville, AR
The School of Social Work, partnered with the Northwest Arkansas Continuum of Care (CoC) will be conducting the annual Point In Time Count on January 26, 2024. The Point In Time Count is a national effort to count the number of people experiencing homelessness on a single night in January each year. The data collected from the count is used to inform policy and funding decisions at the local, state, and federal levels.
Please be aware of this opportunity to participate in a donation drive to benefit those experiencing homelessness this winter. At this moment we are looking to acquire winter gloves and hats, new socks, and “Hot Hands” hand warmers to serve as a token of appreciation for unhoused individuals who participate in the count. Items can be dropped in a clarly marked donation box in Old Main from October 23rd to November 3rd.
