If you are interested in teaching English abroad, pursuing graduate study in a different country, or conducting an independent research or arts project in one of more than 140 countries worldwide, this information session will be of interest. Discussion will cover the basics of the Fulbright awards as well as tips about the application process.

All undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to attend, but those planning to graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 are particularly encouraged to join. The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers U.S. students the opportunity to teach English, pursue graduate study, or conduct an independent research or arts project abroad. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or nationals at the time of application and must have completed a bachelor's degree by the start of the grant. Fulbright awards are available for applicants of all fields of study. In recent years, U of A students and alumni from many different majors across campus have been offered Fulbright awards in Andorra, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Costa Rica, China, Germany, Mexico, Laos, and more.
