DESCRIPTION:This workshop will focus on drafting\, refining\, and finalizin
 g grant proposal budgets and will be presented by Molly Throgmorton\, Asso
 ciate Director for Research Development\, and Dr. Keith Berry\, Research D
 evelopment Specialist. The first hour of the workshop will cover the prima
 ry steps of building a proposal budget\, including: 1) understanding funde
 r requirements\; 2) identifying project expenses\; drafting the budget jus
 tification\; and 4) incorporating the budget into the overall proposal. \n
 \n \n\nThe second part of the workshop will focus on engaging with partici
 pant questions about their budgets. Attendees are encouraged to bring a cu
 rrent draft of their grant proposal budget to engage with the information 
 in real time.  All University of Arkansas faculty and staff involved in re
 search funding on campus are welcome to attend.
