The HHPR Innovation Showcase is a student-led event which will showcase HHPR undergraduate and graduate students’ work in a conference-style symposium. The goal of the event is to provide students at all levels with an opportunity to showcase their hard work and refine presentation skills before presenting work at national or international events. Students in the HHPR department with disciplines including Exercise Science, Public Health, and Athletic Training will be giving oral and poster presentations over not only their research but also class and internship assignments. Therefore, there will be a versatile wealth of learning opportunities for students, faculty, and the public who may be in attendance. The University of Arkansas Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation, Exercise Science Research Center, and the Center for Public Health and Technology have played pivotal roles in support of this event. The innovation showcase will be held on Friday, April 11th in the This event will be held on Friday, April 11th from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on the 3rd floor of the Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) building. Opening remarks will take place at 9:00 am in HPER 320, followed by student presentations. This event is open to the public.
