Would you like to improve your soldering and surface mount skills?

The High Density Electronics Center, also known as HiDEC, is offering its second training workshop Jan. 9-10. The workshop is a great opportunity for students to enhance their skills and understanding so they can increase success in the lab as well as generally growing their electronics engineering competency.

The course costs $250 per student, with the first four registrations receiving a $50 discount. Students are encouraged to talk to their advisors about sponsoring the registration if it is supported under the student’s research activities.

The workshop costs $275 for participants who aren’t a student, faculty or staff member at the University of Arkansas.

Participants will get a mixture of classroom-based learning on principles and the like, combined with hands-on skill development in the HiDEC Assembly Lab.

The center is located at 700 W. Research Center Blvd. in Fayetteville.
