What is a human library?
In an effort to promote diversity and inclusion, the UARK Human Library utilizes interactive storytelling as a platform to learn about the experiences and perspectives of those with compelling life stories. The Human Library™ is designed to encourage positive conversations that can challenge stereotypes and prejudices through dialogue.

What is a human book?
The Human Library™ is a place where real people are on loan to readers. A "human book" is a person that has signed up to tell their story and interact in dialogue with "readers" like you! For more information on what to expect at Human Library, click here! We will send out a link at which you can review the themes and titles of this semester's books prior to the event.

The 19th edition of Human Library will take place on April 12th (3-7 PM), April 13th, (12-3 PM), and April 14th (2-5 PM) and will be held in the Holcombe Hall Living Room. Human Library is hosted by the Center for Multicultural and Diversity Education, in partnership with International Students and Scholars.
