International Education Week (November 18-22, 2024) is a global celebration of the wonderful benefits of International Exchange, and U of A is always excited to participate!

Monday: Discover Celebrations
Join our IEW Opening celebration; learn about global celebrations and wear international dress for this special day! We will have a photo booth set up at the International Bazaar to capture the beautiful outfits you wear on Monday.

Tuesday: Discover the Arts
Global music, dance, art, literature, movies – Learn about and share ideas about the arts from international locations. Look out for special Pop Ups around campus and Housing's special program Dance Around the World.

Wednesday: Discover Issues & Ideas
Explore global issues and different perspectives through presentations, pop ups and social media. Also, learn about what international students an scholars, and faculty members are studying, researching or teaching. Academic units can use this day to brag on international students or employees in their department!

Thursday: Discover Global Flavors
Enjoy learning about the infinite variety food around the world. Post your favorite recipe or video of a cooking lesson.

Friday: Discover Play- Sports, Games, Hobbies
Play sports, play games, and share about our favorite pastimes and cultural hobbies! Let’s Play!
