Raven Cook, history and political science advanced studies professional, will offer an Intro to African American Art program where she will provide a weekly journey through African American History using art as a guide. By considering material and non-material culture, participants will consider how art can be used as a tool of liberation.

The 4-week course, taking place on Monday evenings, will follow the text provided by Art Historian Lisa Farrington titled African- American Art: A Visual and Cultural History.
