About this Event
All are invited to experience M.F.A. Thesis Exhibition, 'Meet Everyone with Art at Location and Time M.E.A.L.T Phase I' by Michael LeBlanc at the Fine Arts Center Gallery March 17-18 and March 28-29.
The opening reception is March 17 from 4-7 p.m. The reception and exhibition is free and open to the public.
M. E. A. L. T. is a mobile art exhibition with the intent to meet the audience where they are at during this and future viral epidemics to offer an alternative to traditional person to person interaction and connectivity.
M. E. A. L. T. is an acronym and portmanteau combining the words “meal” and “melt” that represents the transformation of the ubiquitous food iconography with the classical sculptural material choice of cast bronze.
Visitors are invited to sign in the M. E. A. L. T. ‘s guest book to share your individual experiences, stories, and history with these food icons, and reflect on how these icons and participants' writings have shaped our connection to one another.
Please note the FNAR Gallery will be closed March 21-25 during spring break. Available viewing dates are March 17, 18, 28, and 29.
