The Muslim Students Association at the University of Arkansas invites all students to join us in an enlightening and thought-provoking exploration of Morality and Ethics through the framework of Islamic teachings. “Right” and “wrong” are fundamental ideas, likely ingrained into us by our circumstances and surroundings at a young age, but they are rarely examined and reflected upon within our own lives. This event, “Morality and Ethics” will be held on Friday, November 10th in Hillside Auditorium Room 206 from 6:30-7:30, and will be followed by a free dinner from Tangiers (vegetarian options will be provided!)

Guest speaker Ameer Hamza has multiple degrees in Islamic studies and currently serves as the Imam of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee and the head of CORE, the largest Muslim youth organization in Wisconsin. He will explore the topic of morality and ethics through an Islamic lens and discuss why these notions are something we ought to reflect upon more.
