The University of Arkansas is in support on National 811 Day, which recognizes the importance of safe digging and asks that communities call 8-1-1 prior to any excavation project. The U of A's Natural Gas Pipeline on campus is part of the 3.3 million miles of pipeline in the country and wants to do its part in eliminating excavation damage.
