About this Event
155 S. Razorback Road
The University of Arkansas Police Department will accept all excess drugs and used needles, no questions asked, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the Administrative Services Building on Razorback Road.
For National Drug Takeback Day, UAPD wants to assist anyone who needs to get rid of expired, outdated, or unwanted prescription drugs. Officers will be available on Saturday for you to drive-up and drop-off your prescription drugs.
For those who can't come by on Saturday, the Administrative Services Building, which houses UAPD, Transit and Parking, and IT Services, also has a permanent Drug Drop-Box that can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Unused or expired prescription medications are a public safety issue.
Proper disposal of unneeded drugs saves lives and protects the environment and our overall community. National Prescription Drug Take Back Day is a free event for communities
