Acupuncture is a form of Chinese medicine that has been practiced for centuries. It’s based on the theory that energy, called chi, flows through and around your body along pathways called meridians. With dry-needling we are trying to reach the injured or malfunctioning tissue directly and initiate the healing process. Cupping creates a suction that promotes increased blood circulation, relieving muscle tension, promote cell repair, and aid in other regeneration. Dr. Masters, a third generation chiropractor and health educator, teaches about these techniques and what health problems they can be used for. Live demonstrations are part of this class. Lunch will be provided by APHR for those able to attend (vegetarian choices available).
