The Virtual Dementia Tour, an individualized experience rather than a group experience, is a unique opportunity to feel firsthand what it is like for a person suffering from dementia. Participants will gain an understanding of how dementia impacts individuals and their caregivers. This hands-on experience takes approximately 20 minutes but will change your view of dementia forever. In the second session, participants will have the opportunity to come together as a large group and discuss the VDT experience. We will also learn the basics of Alzheimer’s Disease and other types of dementia and what impact dementia has on our community.

Participants will sign up for a time slot via the Schmieding Center. Information will be shared with registered participants.
