Dr. Ashley Robinson, storyteller and OLLI Instructor of the Year, will take a closer look at lost worlds in literature in everything from Arthur Conan Doyle’s aptly named The Lost World to non-fiction accounts about hunting for the Lost City of Z. Along the way we’ll ask ourselves why the hunt for these mythical places and civilizations continue to capture our imaginations, and why we can’t stop reading literature about adventure. Students will need the ability to read digital books (Ashley will provide them for the class) or may need to purchase books for the class.
