The annual benefits open enrollment period for U of A employees to select plans for 2024 will begin on Oct. 23 and will close at 5 p.m. on Nov. 6. Completion of the enrollment process is required, even if only enrolling in mandatory benefits that are 100% covered by the university such as Basic Life Insurance, Basic Long-term Disability Insurance, employer contributions to retirement and required employee contributions to retirement. 

All benefits selections are managed through the “benefits and pay” tab in Workday.

Human Resources will host two virtual information sessions for any employee who wishes to learn more about open enrollment:

Oct. 24 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. 

Nov. 1 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
