Melanie Thornton is the Coordinator of Access and Equity Outreach with University of Arkansas Partners for Inclusive Communities, which has served as the Arkansas Affiliate of the Southwest ADA Center since 2016. She provides training and technical assistance on topics related to leadership, disability, diversity, and digital access. She also consults with organizations, guiding them in strategic planning and values alignment and assisting them in ensuring their websites and other digital media are accessible. She is very interested in working with organizations to create more accessible environments and to reframe perspectives of disability as an aspect of diversity.
