As students, faculty, and staff at the University of Arkansas prepare for spring break, the University of Arkansas Police Department (UAPD) is taking proactive steps to enhance road safety. In collaboration with The Grease Pig and the University’s Transportation and Parking Department, UAPD will host a free vehicle safety check event to ensure drivers’ vehicles are road-ready before they embark on their travels. This free safety check will include an inspection of essential vehicle components such as lighting, fluids, tires, and other critical systems. The goal is to provide peace of mind to students, faculty, and staff by identifying potential safety concerns before they hit the road.
