Need a social security number (SSN)? You don't have to go to the SSN office on your own! Representatives Social Security Office will come to campus on to help you apply for your SSN. You MUST have current employment or a signed job offer to apply for a social security number. Come to the Holcombe Hall Living Room on Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 1:30-4:00pm. No appointment needed.

-An Employment Verification Letter printed on official UARK letterhead with an original signature in ink. (Download Employment Verification form and email to employer to fill out and print on University or UARK department letterhead. Signature must be signed with ink pen.) J-1 students need a sponsor letter (this is different from the employment/DSO letter.)

- BOTH the completed physical SS-5 application AND online form and provide the online application reference number. The reference number must be printed out.
