The Meet-Up will be centering on DH Project Pitches – projects in the early stages of development – with prizes for first, second, and third places! Presentations must stick to a 3-minute limit and (1) PowerPoint slide, which you can upload to the form linked above. We want to keep the pitches short to allow adequate time for discussion. 

Pitches will be voted on by a committee who will focus on three criteria: 

1.      Innovation and Collaboration   
Are the presenters exploring a novel or exciting DH approach to their subject matter? Will their project allow for interdisciplinary/interlinguistic collaboration?   
 
2.      Feasibility  
Have the presenters thought through each phase of their project? Are they able to point to concrete next steps? Potential funding sources? 
 
3.       Applicability to World Languages/Cultures  
Does this project promote WLLC’s mission of developing world cultural competencies? Does it facilitate language learning/teaching?  
  

Please note that project pitches must be led by a WLLC or CLCS faculty member or graduate student.
