What is Title IX? How does Title IX apply to our campus? How can Title IX affect students, faculty and staff?
These questions and more will be answered and discussed this spring when the U of A Title IX office begins its series of informational discussions titled “Title IX Tuesdays.”
“Title IX Tuesdays” will provide an opportunity for the campus community to learn more about the policies and processes in place to help stop discrimination provided in the law that established Title IX. The sessions will also provide information about how the U of A’s Title IX Office operates and some of the resources it provides. The series will have an ongoing theme of “Title IX 101.”
Each date will provide three chances to take part in the discussion occurring in one-hour sessions, held at 9:50 a.m., 11:50 a.m. and 2:50 p.m. The sessions will take place in the Arkansas Union, Room 504. Other “Title IX Tuesdays” will be on Feb. 22, March 8 and March 29.
