DESCRIPTION:As part of the celebration of National Disability Employment Aw
 areness Month\, the Office of Accommodation and Accessible Services (OEOC-
 AAS) in collaboration with the Center for Educational Access (CEA) want to
  recognize the efforts of campus community members whose efforts help to c
 reate an accessible and "ADA Friendly" campus and a sense of belonging for
  all individuals with disabilities. Chancellor Charles F. Robinson to open
  the formal awards ceremony at 11:30 am. Awards recipients to be recognize

 ght the importance of the involvement of the entire campus community in pr

 a campus where accessibility is universal as part of our Razorback culture
 . Those receiving awards will be those members of the University of Arkans
 as community that have helped propel us in that direction.\n\n \n\nAward c
 ategories include:\n\nAdvocate for Equity in Accessibility Award: recogniz
 es individuals who have promoted accessibility and/or affected positive ch
 anges in regard to accessibility within the campus community to ensure tha
 t all individuals enjoy all of the benefits of campus life. These advocate
 s work behind the scenes to remove barriers.   \n\nInclusive Education Awa
 rd: recognizes a faculty member or academic leadership who has contributed
  to the enhancement of an inclusive educational environment or equitable o
 pportunities for students. \n\nInclusive Employment Award: recognizes mana
 gers or departments efforts to hire and retain employees with disabilities
 \, and to recognize Best Practices affecting employees with disabilities w
 ithin the workplace. This award recognizes the efforts of individuals who 
 go above and beyond what is legally required to create an inclusive welcom
 ing environment and to encourage the ‘stay at work’ principle. \n\nStu
 dent Advocate Award: recognizes outstanding efforts by an undergraduate or
  graduate student in representing disability identity or community on camp
 us or by increasing campus access through advocacy or involvement.REGISTRA
