DESCRIPTION:This two-hour interactive session introduces undergraduate stud
 ents to the unique resources available through Special Collections and how
  these materials can support their research. Led by Special Collections li
 brarians\, the session explores the types of primary sources available\, i
 ncluding rare books\, manuscripts\, archives\, photographs\, and universit
 y records\, and demonstrates how to find and use these materials through l
 ibrary catalogs\, finding aids\, and digital collections.\n\nStudents will
  participate in activities to build confidence in working with primary sou
 rces and practice discovery strategies for class projects and independent 
 research. The session also includes a guided tour of the closed stacks.
