Zen Brass is a professional brass septet — three trumpets, three trombones, tuba — founded in Lawrence, Kansas in 2019. Today its members are spread across five states and two countries, uniting for concerts, masterclasses, and educational programs true to the ensemble's name: relaxed, centered, and fully present music-making, grounded in attentive listening and musical connection. Repertoire spans Baroque to contemporary works, including the ensemble's debut album, "Voices of Land and Spirit," available on major streaming platforms and zenbrass.com.
